I have been reviewing my Sparkhall/Worts files.

I have a copy of Cubitt SPARKHALL Sr.'s will and in it he names "James WORTS, miller, now of Bungay" as one of his executors.  I am sure now that this is the same James WORTS that you have written about.  Love to hear from you.

I have been reading with much interest, the Gooderham and Worts story.  For some time I have been looking for info on my 3xg-grandmother Mary WORTS.  Yesterday I received an e-mail from a fellow Worts researcher who tells me that Mary and her children (6) (her husband Cubitt SPARKHALL was now deceased and he had remarried David Gallant) were in the Gooderham and Worts party that came over in 1832.  I know that they had come over, as had my 3xg-grandfather and his family in 1832.

Mary's daughter Mary SPARKHALL married John SMYTH son of Thomas SMYTH and Elizabeth SPENCER.  I am wondering if John and his family were aboard the same ship and the party and perhaps that is how they met or perhaps they knew each other before coming to Canada.  I see on your history that they came across on the ship "Ann".  This is a good clue for me as I shall now try to find a passenger list.   You wouldn't happen to have the ships list for the "Ann", would you?

I descend from John and Mary's son Henry >B. Joseph > Goerge Henry.

Willing to share any family history that you may be interested in.
