Island 843 is central on Lake Temagami. WHAT IS INCLUDED: The cottage has 3 bedrooms (12 x 12)
3. 2 set of bunks( sleeping 4) Great for the kids Full bathroom with bath/shower (hot and cold water) linen and towels included, Large open concept Kitchen (with Frig, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster) living room with cathedral ceiling, TV w/ antenna,DVD,VCR, small portable tape deck, radio, telephone, 1 extra fridge for over flow or beer,fireplace and electric heat, BBQ on the deck, large dock for 2 boats, picnic table and fire pit. There is no air conditioning and it is not wheel chair accessible yet. There are neighbors to the left of the cottage from the lake, I am also on the same island 2 doors down typical property width is 300 ft wide, it is private. There is no boat included but arrangements can be made for one. Swimming is good water and is clean enough to drink but we have a water purifier on the kitchen tap. I do not encourage pets but will not refuse them ( it is an additional $50 if you choose to bring one). HOW TO GET THERE: Turn on to the Temagami Access Road (NOTE: cell phones have intermittent reception beyond this point) Follow the road to the end, 13 km. Look for a sign saying TLA they sell good Shoal maps of the whole lake. There is a fork in the road, which leads to another landing and public parking. All is well signed. Beyond this fork is the public parking and docking. THE CURRENT RATES: The price is $800 Plus GST (Goods and Services Tax 6%)this is for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids ) Stays are usually 1 wk Sat to Sat leaving the cottage no later than 10:30am (we have to have change over completed for new arrivals by 1:30 - 2:00 pm) If you were to be a party of more than 4 adults there is an up charge, children are not included as adults unless the party is more than 4. EXTRAS: Boat rental: 16' steel boat with a 25hp Mercury engine, 1 gas tank full, $95 per day or $400 per week (Damages are your liability $350 deposit required, PFD's not supplied) A canoe is available for $100 per week.
